Dr Tanu Gupta

Dr. Tanu Gupta is presently working as Professor of English in the Department of English and Foreign Languages, Central University of Haryana. Prior to joining this university, she worked as Professor and Head, Department of English, Chandigarh university. She has spent over 25 years deeply involved in teaching and research, becoming a respected voice in gender and postcolonial studies. She has written six books and published over a hundred research articles in reputed peer-reviewed/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals, making a lasting mark in her field. She has guided 16 Ph.D. and 9 M.Phil. scholars, showing her dedication to fostering the next generation of researchers.

Dr. Gupta has shared her expertise at nearly 80 conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs, often serving as a resource person or chair. Her academic reputation has led her to serve on PhD evaluation panels for top universities like Universiti Sains Malaysia, Delhi University, University of Madras, and Banaras Hindu University.

Beyond her research, Dr. Gupta has played an essential role in organizing academic events, having led four international and four national conferences, as well as two state-level seminars. Her recent work editing three special issues of Literary Voice and four of Literature and Aesthetics, both journals indexed in Web of Science and UGC Care, reflects her editorial strengths. She has remained the section editor of Technoetic Arts, a SCOPUS indexed journal and at present she is editing three issues of SCOPUS indexed journals.
